2009 QUEEN'S COURT
Queen Natalie Hope Lopez
Natalie is the 19 year-old daughter of Marsha and Gerardo Lopez. She has light brown hair, hazel eyes and enjoys singing, dancing, traveling and spending time with her family. Natalie is a 2008 graduate of Lakewood Ranch High School, where she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class, won the Community Service Recognition Award, and was a member of the Honorary International Thespian Society, the Drama Club, the Relay for Life Committee, the National Honor Society, Renaissance, and the Lakewood Ranch High School Marching Band Color Guard. She also had the lead role in the musical “Shout” and competed at the District and State level in Drama. Natalie is currently attending the University of Tampa, where she is on the Dean’s List, a member of the musical and theatre ensemble, the Women’s Glee Club, and a local volunteer for Toys for Tots. She has been awarded the Women’s Exchange Scholarship, the Florida Bright Futures Medallion Scholarship, the University of Tampa Deans Scholarship, and the University of Tampa’s Music Scholarship. Natalie plans to graduate from the University of Tampa with a BA in Performing Arts and Music Education. She also plans to further her studies at FSU with the goal of obtaining a Masters Degree in Fine Arts and hopefully tour with a regional Performance Company, eventually settling down to raise a family and work within the school system to expose the wonderful world of Music, Theater, and Dance to children.
Princess Kimberly Ann Hillman
Kimberly is the 20 year-old daughter of Lynn Marie Hillman. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and enjoys dancing, spending time with family and friends, and fishing. Kimmie is a 2007 graduate of Manatee High School, where she was on the Sugar Canes Dance Team all 4 years (and Captain her Senior Year), a member of Renaissance, Student Council, President of Reinaunce (an all-girls service club), Future Educators of America, the Class Board, Z Club, Manateens and Tracey Vita School of Dance. She was also in the Future Career & Community Leaders of America, a Homecoming Princess nominee and Homecoming Queen Nominee and Prom Queen Nominee. Her senior year she graduated with over 600 community service hours. Kimmie is currently a sophomore at Valencia Community College, maintaining a 3.7 GPA. Here she is a Kindergarten class volunteer for Avalon Elementary, a Deaf Education Sign Language assistant and a member of the Education Club. Kimmie plans on completing her AA and continuing her education with a Degree in Education and a minor in Performing Arts. After college she wants to move back to her home in Bradenton and become a Kindergarten Teacher at Jessie P. Miller Elementary (where I attended School) and hopefully obtain a position as a dance team coach for one of our local high schools.
Kelsey May Suzanne Adams
Kelsey is the 20 year-old daughter of Luann Adams. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and enjoys reading, volunteering, yoga, cooking and playing the viola. Kelsey is a 2007 graduate of Manatee High School where she was a National Honor Society and Music Honor Society member, a member of the All-County Orchestra, the Spanish Club President and a White-M recipient. Kelsey graduated high school with a 4.2 GPA and in the top 10% of her class. She is currently attending the University of South Florida, where she is a 100% Bright Futures recipient, the winner of the Presidential Scholars Award, and a member of the University of South Florida’s Honors College, the Golden Key Honor Society, and the College of Arts and Sciences Honor Society. Kelsey is currently a manager at Atlanta Bread, in addition to her studies at USF. She plans on graduating from the University’s Honor College and the Religious Studies Honors Program with a Bachelors in Religious Studies and a minor in Business. After this she plans on attending law school, where her hopes are to learn the necessary skills to provide legal assistance to those living at (or below) the poverty line, who cannot afford to hire an attorney.
Avery Anne Ellsworth
Avery is the 20 year-old daughter of Michelle and Mike Ellsworth. She has blonde hair, green eyes and enjoys cooking and baking, kayaking, reading, spending time with friends, building relationships with the youth at church, dancing, shopping, traveling and scrapbooking. Avrey is a 2007 graduate of Manatee High School where she was in the marching band as a Sr. Drum Major and Top Officer. She was also a member and officer of the National Honor Society, the FCA President, a Youth Group leader, a MHS Jazz Vocalist, and maintained a 3.8 GPA. Avrey attended Southeastern University in 2007 and is currently attending Manatee Community College. In college she was a Discipleship Intern, on the Dean’s List and the Honor Roll. She was also the Youth Ministry Intern, Small Group Leader and the Youth Summer Program Director. Avrey plans on finishing her pre-req’s at MCC and then transferring to USF to continue her education in Communications (specializing in Public Speaking). After this she wants to go into the ministry to work with students and mentor them through their early adulthood. Avrey states that her work will be Christian-based and therefore plans her career path towards first being a youth pastor and eventually writing books and traveling to speak to youths: encouraging them through her witness.
Alison Frances Fraraccio
Alison is the 20 year-old daughter of Carol McGuire and Rudy Fraraccio. She has light brown hair, light brown eyes and enjoys being with friends and family, fishing, and going to the beach. Ali is a 2007 graduate of St. Stephens Episcopal School, where she was Homecoming Queen, in Student Government, the Honor Council, Key Club, and made Honor Roll all four years. She was also a Golden Herald Nominee, a Younglife Campaigner, a Student Senate Page, and a Chapel Leader. In addition Ali was a Manatee/Sarasota County Debutante and Representative. Ali is currently a sophomore at University of South Florida, where she is majoring in Mass Communications and Public Relations, with a minor in Political Science. She is also in Alpha Delta Pi, and the Panhellenic Delegate in 2008. In 2009 she was appointed to the Executive Board for the Director of Standards and Ethics and participated in the Campus CRU Crusade for Christ and USF Intramurals. Ali plans on becoming a USF Ambassador during her senior year and also the President of her sorority. She wants to graduate with honors from the college of Mass Communications from USF. After this she aspires to attend law school at Stetson University College of Law… to become an attorney and help those in need of legal assistance and be involved in local government. Taking this a step further, she would also like to eventually be elected as a County Commissioner, support Younglife, be involved with the Manasota ARC, and be an active member of my alma-maters. She wants to marry, and raise a family right here in Manatee County, and be a dedicated member of this community.
Amy Kathryn Hernden
Amy is the 19 year-old daughter of Ron and Carol Hernden. She has brown hair, hazel eyes and enjoys photography, dance, traveling, sports, the beach and spending time with family and friends. Amy is a 2008 graduate of Manatee High School where she was in the Spanish Club, the Orchestra and a member of the Student Council, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and on the Class Board. She was also a member of the MHS Sugar Canes all four years, and on the AP+ Program. In addition, Amy was a member of the Mamselles Service Club for four years (including being President), and contributed over 200 service hours. All through high school she maintained a 3.8 GPA while working at Demetrious Pizza House. She is currently attending the University of North Florida and is in the Honors Program there. She plans to audition for the UNF dance and graduate with a degree in journalism and work as a photo-journalist for a travel magazine … eventually work and travel for National Geographic.
Julia Raine Higgins
Lauren Elizabeth Kerrey
Lauren is the 19 year-old daughter of Leslie and Jeff Burton. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and enjoys playing the piano, tennis, horseback riding and ballroom dancing. Lauren is a 2007 graduate of Palmetto High School, where she was on the Honor Roll for all 4 years, in AP and Honor classes, the Concert Band and a member of the Technology Students Association, and the Homecoming Court. In addition, Lauren was a Varsity Cheerleader and the captain her senior year. She was voted the Faculty Senior Notable, participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and donated countless hours of community service. She is currently attending Manatee Community College and working towards a Degree in Mass Communications. While in college she was on the Honor Roll and the Dean’s List. Afterwards, Lauren wants to pursue a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Danielle Grayce Sabella
Danielle is the 18 year-old daughter of Gina and Walter Sabella. She has brown hair, brown eyes and enjoys bike-riding, playing Hero Guitar, tanning and running. Danielle is a 2008 graduate of Manatee High School, where she was a member of her Class Board (all four years), the Student Council, Reinaunce, and the Dance Team. She was also the Homecoming Princess for three consecutive years, and a member of the Orchestra and was a representative for the National Young Leadership Convention. She won the Renaissance Academic Achievement Award of a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and was in Marine Science Honors and History Honors classes. Danielle is currently working at the Beach House Restaurant and is attending Manatee Community College. She plans on attending the University of Central Florida, where she is will major in Hospitality… with her sights set on Walt Disney World.
Jami Lynne Stinton
Jami is the 18 year-old daughter of Shari and James Stinton. She has brown hair, hazel eyes and enjoys being on the water, at the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. Jami is a 2008 graduate of Palmetto High School, where she was a member of Future Farmers of America, and Ag Ventures. She was also a JV Cheerleader, on the Homecoming Court, the Christmas Court. She also participates in her Sunday School Nursery program, where she teaches children. Jami is currently working at Seychelles Day Spa in Palmetto, and is attending Cosmetology School. As a result of this career path in combination with her love of people, she has also donated her time to doing hair and nails for the homeless. She hopes to become a very successful cosmetologist one day and own her own salon.
