The Hernando de Soto Historical Society is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1939 and consists of volunteer members who foster and facilitate an appreciation of Manatee County’s Spanish – American heritage. Through fundraising events and sponsorships we are able to provide educational opportunities and donate to local charities, organizations and individuals.Â
Our annual Main Street Putt-Putt is truly a twist on miniature golf. The De Soto Main Street Putt-Putt can be described as a Putt-Putt Pub Crawl Tournament.Â
