More Than Just Golf

Of course, golf is at the heart of the event—but there’s plenty more waiting for you throughout the day.

Players will find food, complimentary beverages, and games on the course, creating plenty of opportunities to relax, laugh, and enjoy the day with friends.

And when it comes to prizes and excitement, we’ve got that covered too.

The tournament will feature:

Raffle items
50/50 drawing
Silent auction
Live auction
Awards

It’s the kind of event where you can spend the day enjoying the game while still having plenty of reasons to celebrate off the course.

Every Swing Helps Give Back

The best part of the De Soto Charity Golf Tournament isn’t just the golf—it’s where your participation can lead.

Proceeds from the tournament will go to a charity selected by De Soto, making this a fun way to turn a day out with friends into an opportunity to support the community.

The Hernando de Soto Historical Society is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1939. Through fundraising events and sponsorships, the organization provides educational opportunities and supports local charities, organizations, and individuals. De Soto reports that its fundraising efforts contribute more than $50,000 annually back into the community.

That means your foursome is doing more than keeping score.

You’re helping give back.

Make It a Day to Remember

There’s something special about getting a group of people together for a day of golf. Add great food, games, prizes, auctions, and a cause that benefits the community, and you’ve got a day worth putting on the calendar.

Whether you’re a longtime De Soto supporter, a regular golfer, a local business looking for a team-building opportunity, or simply looking for a fun way to spend a Friday with friends, we hope you’ll join us.

Get your foursome together. Register now. And come ready to swing, laugh, compete, and give back.
