2025 Queen Selection Program

Join us for an unforgettable evening at the 2025 Queen Selection Program on Wednesday, April 23rd, where tradition meets excitement. This year’s event promises a lively celebration featuring music, entertainment, and the presentation of our Conquistadorables and Lil’ Caballeros. We’re also thrilled to welcome Miss Florida, Miss Georgia, and Miss Tennessee as special guests, adding extra glamour to the night.

 

When it comes to food, we’ve pulled out all the stops. This year, High Steaks Catering is bringing their culinary expertise to the table, ensuring you’ll enjoy a truly memorable dining experience. For those with the $50 ticket, the evening begins with early entry (6:00 PM – 7:00 PM), giving you access to an open bar and an indulgent buffet dinner. 

 

The buffet menu includes a fresh house salad tender grilled chicken breast, savory baked potatoes, crisp green beans, soft dinner rolls, and a dessert that will leave you wanting more. Whether you’re a fan of savory flavors or a sweet finish, High Steaks Catering has crafted a meal that will delight your taste buds and set the tone for an exciting night ahead. Plus, with priority seating, you’ll have the perfect view of all the action!

 

For those opting for the $35 ticket, doors open at 7:15 PM, and the show kicks off at 7:30 PM. While you may not have the early access to the buffet, you’ll still enjoy the excitement and access to a cash bar to sip on your favorite drinks while you watch the show.

 

The evening will feature the 2025 Queen’s Court, a group of remarkable young women who have worked tirelessly to represent the Hernando de Soto Historical Society. This year’s court includes:  

 

These young ladies have spent months learning about the rich history of Hernando de Soto, Bradenton, and the importance of leadership, community, and public speaking. They also mentor their Conquistadorables and Lil’ Caballeros, young girls and boys between the ages of 7 and 10 who join them for this special night.

 

The Queen Selection Program is a true celebration of talent, grace, and community spirit. Watch as the ladies of the Queen’s Court take the stage, showcasing their personalities and answering on-stage questions with confidence. Their runway walk will be a highlight, with each young woman donning a beautiful gown of her choice—a dazzling sight that will surely captivate everyone in the audience.

 

The evening will be filled with excitement, music, and entertainment, providing a perfect balance of fun and elegance. You’ll even get a chance to learn a little more about Hernando de Soto’s legacy.

Bring your loved ones along to cheer on these inspiring young women as they work towards earning the title of Queen or Princess, to be crowned during the De Soto Coronation Ball. These crowned queens will spend the next year representing the Hernando de Soto Historical Society, attending festivals, promoting the De Soto Heritage Festival, and building connections within our community and beyond.
