The Hernando de Soto Historical Society is a nonprofit organization that consists of 125 volunteer members who organize and produce some of the largest events in Manatee County. One organization they are passionate about is the Vision Foundation.
The doctors at the Eye Center created the Eye Center, Inc. Vision Foundation, a nonprofit organization, that is committed to helping others. With support from the Manatee County school nurses, the Vision Foundation is able to provide free eye examinations and a complete set of glasses to any Manatee County students in need.
Funds for the Eye Center, Inc. Vision Foundation are provided by this annual fundraiser,
Beertopia. Aside from helping a good cause, if you attend Beertopia you can expect to enjoy an extensive variety of craft beers, wine, seltzers, and liquor paired with delicious food served by local restaurants, as well as live music and an impressive selection of silent and live auction items, and raffle tickets. This is a fun evening and a great way to support the children of Manatee County.
