2020 QUEEN'S COURT

Queen Langston Victoria Sellars

Langston is the 20 year old daughter of Pepper and Brian Sellars. She is 5’5” with light brown hair and blue eyes and enjoys bike riding, hiking, traveling, and cosmetics. A graduate of Lakewood Ranch High School, Langston completed her education with a 4.0 GPA while participating in State and National Competitions with Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. She was also a member of the Future Farmers of America, on the Dean’s List, received the TEACH Scholarship and received her National Child Development Associate in Early Childhood Education. She attends Bayside Community Church and volunteers at the Myakka City Community Center. Langston attends the State College of Florida where she is still maintaining her 4.0 GPA. She seeks a B.S. in Nursing and plans to enter the field of Pediatric Oncology.

Princess Claire Alicia Strickland

Claire is the 21 year old daughter of Lesli and Daniel Strickland. She is 5’10” with blonde hair and brown eyes and is a 7th generation native of Manatee County. Her interests include working out, spending time with friends, family and 4 dogs and making her Mother laugh. A graduate of Palmetto High /school, Claire was the High School Mascot her senior year and member of the National Honor Society, Key Club and 4 H of Manatee County. She participated in Swine Projects and the Land Judging Team. She attends the First Baptist Church of Palmetto, works with Wee World and King’s Kids and volunteers for many community activities. Claire won a Bright Futures Scholarship and is attending the University of south Florid, studying accounting. Her future plans are to start an Agri-Accounting firm in Manatee County.

Breesha Dawn Angell

Breesha is the 20 year-old daughter of Dawn Morrison and Robert Goff of Palmetto. She is 5’9” with brown hair and brown eyes and a graduate of Braden River High School. Her hobbies include playing softball, enjoying the Manatee County beaches, fishing and being with family and friends.

Morgan Mary-Elizabeth Conrad

Morgan is 19 years old and the daughter of Ashley and Eddie Conrad of Palmetto. She is 5’2” with blonde hair and blue eyes and her interests include going to the beach, boating, fishing and working out. Morgan is a graduate of Palmetto High School.

Alexxis Jade De Jesus

Aexxis is 20 years old and the daughter of Tammy Wakeland-DeJesus of Bradenton. She is 5’0″ with brown hair and eyes and a graduate of Manatee High School. Her hobbies include working out at the gym and being with her friends.

Joanne Marie Gigliotti

Joanne is 20 years old and the daughter of Janette and Joe Gigliotti of Bradenton. A graduate of Braden River High School, Joanne is 5’1” with brown hair and brown eyes and her hobbies include painting, soccer and going to the gym.

Marissa Joanne Hulsart

Marissa is the 21 year-old daughter of Joanne and Cliff Hulsart of Bradenton. She is 5’5” with blond hair and green eyes. Her interests include boating, scuba diving, ATV trail riding, gaming, long boarding and costume design. She is a Braden River High School graduate.

Victoria Chantel Terrell

Tory is 19 years old and the daughter of Kristen and Craig Terrell of Bradenton. She is 5’9” with blonde hair and blue eyes and her interests include competitive cheerleading, drawing, painting and caring for her pet pig, Violet. She is a graduate of Braden River High School.

Jalyn Elaine Thompson

Jalyn graduated from Riverview High School and is the 18 year old daughter of Jada and Jason Thompson of Myakka City. She is 5’9” with light brown hair and hazel eyes and her hobbies include hammocking, camping, showing pigs, spending time with family and friends, and following the band “Midland”.

Samantha Marie Thurman

Samantha is the 19 year old daughter of Nick Thurman of Palmetto. She is 5’6” with brown hair and blue eyes and enjoys singing and dancing. Sam is a graduate of Palmetto High School.

Denver Sydney Romano

Denver is the 18 year old daughter of Stacey and Dennis Romano of Lakewood Ranch. She is 5’7” with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her hobbies include working out, crafting, playing with her dog, boating, going to Disney World, and spending time with her family. While at Lakewood Ranch High School, Denver graduated in the top 15% of her class, was the National Honor Society Historian, Vice President of Quill and Scroll, and a varsity cheerleader. She attends Faith Lutheran Church and was chosen by their board of directors to serve as a youth representative liaison, and actively served her community as a volunteer on mission trips to Michigan and Texas. Denver is currently attending the University of Central Florida double majoring in Event Management and Hospitality. She plans to pursue her dream of working for the Walt Disney Company.

Megan Avery Mitchell

Megan is 19 years old and the daughter of Shea and Justin Carpenter of Parrish. She is 5’3” with blonde hair and blue eyes and enjoys dancing, watching You Tube videos, spending time with friends and family. A graduate of Palmetto High School, Megan graduated with a 4.0 GPA, was captain of the varsity dance team and a four year varsity letterman. She attends Bayside Community Church and is very active in their small groups. She was also named most photogenic with the Drum Majorettes of America. Megan is attending State College of Florida and upon completion of her Associate of Arts degree will transfer to the University of South Florida where she will pursue a degree in travel and tourism with hopes of becoming a flight attendant and seeing the world.
