Queen Denver Sydney Romano

Queen Denver Sydney Romano

Denver is the 18 year old daughter of Stacey and Dennis Romano of Lakewood Ranch. She is 5’7” with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her hobbies include working out, crafting, playing with her dog, boating, going to Disney World, and spending time with her family.

While at Lakewood Ranch High School, Denver graduated in the top 15% of her class, was the National Honor Society Historian, Vice President of Quill and Scroll, and a varsity cheerleader. She attends Faith Lutheran Church and was chosen by their board of directors to serve as a youth representative liaison, and actively served her community as a volunteer on mission trips to Michigan and Texas.

Denver is currently attending the University of Central Florida double majoring in Event Management and Hospitality. She plans to pursue her dream of working for the Walt Disney Company.

Princess Megan Avery Mitchell

Princess Megan Avery Mitchell

Megan is 19 years old and the daughter of Shea and Justin Carpenter of Parrish. She is 5’3” with blonde hair and blue eyes and enjoys dancing, watching You Tube videos, spending time with friends and family.

A graduate of Palmetto High School, Megan graduated with a 4.0 GPA, was captain of the varsity dance team and a four year varsity letterman. She attends Bayside Community Church and is very active in their small groups. She was also named most photogenic with the Drum Majorettes of America.

Megan is attending State College of Florida and upon completion of her Associate of Arts degree will transfer to the University of South Florida where she will pursue a degree in travel and tourism with hopes of becoming a flight attendant and seeing the world.

Breesha Dawn Angell

Breesha Dawn Angell

Breesha is the 20 year-old daughter of Dawn Morrison and Robert Goff of Palmetto. She is 5’9” with brown hair and brown eyes and her hobbies include playing softball, enjoying the Manatee County beaches, fishing and being with family and friends.

A graduate of Braden River High School, she was a 4-year Advance Placement Honors Student while participating in the Chorus, FFA, weightlifting and softball teams. She attended the First Baptist Church of Gillette, serving as a volunteer for Vacation Bible School, Leadership Team Food Pantry and other Church programs.

Breesha graduated from State College of Florida with an Associate of Arts Degree in June and is now at Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College seeking a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Livestock Production. She is a member of the Young Farmers and Ranchers Club, The Cattleman’s Association and the Intramural Co-Ed Softball Team. She is pursuing a career in the Beef Industry.

Morgan Mary-Elizabeth Conrad

Morgan Mary-Elizabeth Conrad

Morgan is 19 years old and the daughter of Ashley and Eddie Conrad of Palmetto. She is 5’2” with blonde hair and blue eyes and her interests include going to the beach, boating, fishing and working out.

A graduate of Palmetto High School, Morgan was co-captain of the tennis team and a top five player all four years of high school. She is a member of the West Coast Community Church in Parrish, a member of the Overflow Youth Group, a facilitator of a team support group for Joshua 1 Nine Counseling, and has also volunteered for Celebrate Recovery and was a 2009 Conquistadorable for the Hernando De Soto Historical Society.

Morgan is currently attending Manatee Technical College seeking licensure in the field of Cosmetology. Her future plans are to open her own salon and bridal boutique.

Joanne Marie Gigliotti

Joanne Marie Gigliotti

Joanne is 20 years old and the daughter of Janette and Joe Gigliotti of Bradenton. She is 5’1” with brown hair and brown eyes and her hobbies include painting, soccer and going to the gym.

A graduate of Braden River High School, Joanne was a member of Junior Leadership, the varsity soccer team and the Advanced Placement Honors Program. She also served as a volunteer coach for Manatee Area Youth Soccer Association and TOP Soccer for young athletes with disabilities. She is a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church.

Joanne is seeking her Associate of Science degree from the State College of Florida in preparation as she prepares to transfer to the University of South Florida to pursue a career as a Physician’s Assistant, specializing in orthopedics.

Marissa Joanne Hulsart

Marissa Joanne Hulsart

Marissa is the 21 year-old daughter of Joanne and Cliff Hulsart of Bradenton. She is 5’5” with blond hair and green eyes. Her interests include boating, scuba diving, ATV trail riding, gaming, long boarding and costume design.

A graduate of Braden River High School, Marissa earned Certifications in Engineering Technology and researched Panther tracking technology. She was also a volunteer for MOTE Marine and still serves as a foster parent for Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue.

Marissa is currently attending State College of Florida, is a certified Smith & Wesson armorer and enjoys volunteering for the De Soto Heritage Festival. Her future plans are to work with and design virtual reality systems.

Victoria Chantel Terrell

Victoria Chantel Terrell

Tory is 19 years old and the daughter of Kristen and Craig Terrell of Bradenton. She is 5’9” with blonde hair and blue eyes and her interests include competitive cheerleading, drawing, painting and caring for her pet pig, Violet.

A graduate of Braden River High School, Tory was a varsity cheerleader, a member of Future Farmers of America, the Veterinarian Program, and graduated in the top 20% of her class. She volunteered for the Manatee County Animal Shelter, A Childs Galaxy Pre-School, and numerous Hernando De Soto Historical Society events.

Her future plans are to receive her degree in Physical Therapy and to continue to provide foster care to animals.

Jalyn Elaine Thompson

Jalyn Elaine Thompson

Jalyn is 18 years old and the daughter of Jada and Jason Thompson of Myakka City. She is 5’9” with light brown hair and hazel eyes and her hobbies include hammocking, camping, showing pigs, spending time with family and friends, and following the band “Midland”.

A graduate of Riverview High School, Jalyn was a member and club officer of the FFA for seven years and was the recipient of the State Degree. As a 13 year member of the Florida 4H she was selected to represent at the Southern Region Teen Leadership Conference. She currently volunteers for Feeding Empty Little Tummies, Project Life, Share the Warmth, and attends Elwood Park Baptist Church.

Jalyn earned her AA degree as a high school senior from the State College of Florida. She plans to further her education at the University of Florida, majoring in Animal Sciences with a focus on dairy or meat sciences.

Samantha Marie Thurman

Samantha Marie Thurman

Samantha is the 19 year old daughter of Nick Thurman of Palmetto. She is 5’6” with brown hair and blue eyes and enjoys singing and dancing.

A graduate of Palmetto High School, Sam was a member of the varsity dance team for three years and served as an officer her Senior year. She was also a three year varsity letterman and choir president. She attends Impact Community Church where she sings on the Worship Team, and serves as a youth group leader, and summer camp counselor.

Sam is seeking her Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education at State College of Florida. She will then transfer to the University of South Florida to earn her degree in Education, majoring in History.
